Obscura is awesome :) Reminded me of minimalesque Brian Eno music. It was a remembrance of the exact feeling of wonder I used to get when I was a kid and watched Disney movies (still do). Also found the apt abruptness of Bjork backdrops mixed with fantastical soundtrack inspirations (and after seeing your playlists, I could see where you get those influences!)

Hello Taimur. Thanks for all the praise.... While I was working on Obscura, I thought about my childhood - the cold bits, the warm bits, the revelation, the joy, awakenings, newly minted experiences, etc and squished them into music. I arranged the tracks as I felt would be in order of my growing up. So that's why I described it as "a scrapbook for my younger self" on soundcloud.
DeleteI am a huge fan of animated movies myself (Disney, non-Disney both). I recently watched the secret of Kells (gorgeous soundtrack and art, really recommend it).
Thanks for appreciating my blog, dude. I haven't been coming here very much since the new year, but I've been writing some poetry on tumblr.
And no, I haven't checked out Vulnicura yet - will do so after finishing up on some university work :) Thanks for commenting!

Anywat, thanks for the link and code :) loved the stuff, listened to it as I wrote up some molecular biology practicals. Something in it actually reminded me a little bit of tomb raider 3 game soundtrack, don't know how!

I am itching to make some music, but I feel very empty at the moment - I tried to work on some old tracks and got nothing. Arite. I was thinking we make a long track that's mostly drone and silent, and it could have little bits of your movements interspersed either randomly or intermittently.
